Dear VETdata users, dear customers
The VETdata data platform has established itself and continues to enjoy increasing popularity. Virtually all TVS suppliers are currently present on VETdata and, in addition to the TVS documents, more than 96% of supplier invoices and credit notes are continuously available on VETdata.
As a result, you can use VETdata not only as a reference platform, but also as a digital archive of your supplier invoices.
There are currently more than 700 practices registered with VETdata and the number is growing every day. If you are not yet registered, now is the time to register at https://app.vetdata.ch/registration. The basic version of VETdata is free of charge for TVS customers.
New website
We recently launched the website https://vetdata.ch has been redesigned. It has a fresh, contemporary design and offers helpful information to make it easier for you to use VETdata.
Release
In addition to various technical adjustments, the new release also introduces the following new features:
Monthly traffic in CSV format
From August 2025, a new icon for downloading the Excel-readable CSV file will be available in the VETdata “TVS Account” account view to the right of the PDF icon.
TVS documents automatically by e-mail on request
It is now also possible to have TVS receipts sent automatically by e-mail (PDF attachment).
Important: Until now, you have always received an e-mail message as soon as a new TVS document was available. This resulted in a lot of mail traffic. To prevent unnecessary e-mails from being sent, we have now generally deactivated this checkbox. If you still wish to receive this notification, please reactivate it under the menu item “Settings and users”(https://app.vetdata.ch/einstellungen) under “Function settings”. Thank you very much.
List of previously used keywords in the document archive
When uploading your own documents, you can assign self-defined keywords. So that these keywords can be structured better and more uniformly, you now have the option of listing, selecting and deleting them. To see all the keywords used so far, click in the “Keywords” field or enter “*” there.
Fiduciary portal and portal for practice chains à “Settings and users”
To grant your trust company or someone within the practice group simplified access, you can share your VETdata account by selecting the corresponding entry via the “ADD TRUST COMPANY” or “ADD PRACTICE GROUP” button. The fiduciary company or those responsible for the practice group thus have centralized access and can easily switch between the individual VETdata accounts to be released.
If your fiduciary company or practice group does not yet offer this or does not have the corresponding connection, please inform them of the corresponding option or ask them to contact VETdata so that the connection can be set up.
Sustainability
VETdata would also like to make a contribution to sustainability and therefore offers the option of dispensing with paper delivery altogether. You can do this under the menu item “Settings and users ” https://app.vetdata.ch/einstellungen for both TVS documents and supplier invoices/credit notes:
If you do not make any changes, the delivery method will remain as before. The changeover will take place immediately at TVS and gradually at the suppliers as soon as they have set up the data reconciliation with regard to the delivery method.
Data protection
Data protection and data security are our top priority. Your data is hosted in a data center in Switzerland and we are monitored by an external lawyer for compliance with data protection legislation. Further information can be found at https://vetdata.ch/datenschutz.
