Problems with 2FA conversion – browser settings

After a release of VETdata or when activating 2-factor authentication, the dialog may return to the initial page when logging in, thus starting an endless loop.

This is usually because the Internet browser (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.) automatically saves the old page content from VETdata in the background (cache) and therefore the new functionalities are not displayed correctly.

To solve this, the old browser data (cache) must be deleted. This varies slightly depending on the browser, but is always the same in principle. Below are some examples of how the old cache data / browser data can be deleted:
